First Day of School!

We had a terrific first day of school! We learned how to sit criss-cross applesauce and raise our hands. How to use the bathrooms appropriately and walk down the halls quietly with our 'hips and lips'. We talked about math and numbers. Our tree needed some summer leaves so we painted green leaves. We read 'The Kissing Hand', learned a new poem and made hand-print pictures for our parents. Participated in an all school assembly and learned about the six pillars of character. Ate lunch in the cafeteria and played on the playground. Went to art class and learned how to use our toolboxes. And much, much more! It was a busy day but we learned lots and had a wonderful time getting to know one another. Thank you to all for making our first day spectacular!

Jump Start

The school year is almost here! Some of you were able to get a 'jump start' on the upcoming year by participating in our summer school program. We explored water and had a blast. Thank you for joining me and I can't wait to see you in a few weeks. Have a great rest of your summer!
